A weekend in Paris with Peugeot

Upon arrival we got drinks and bites and a presentation of Net5's roster for next season, proving once again that they're your one-stop shop for drama series. Net5 staples like Grey's Anatomy and Desperate Housewives will return, but there will be plenty of their own Dutch productions as well.Tulle Prom Dresses

After the presentation Chloë and I hit the town, shopped loads and loads and at the end of the night we ended up back in our fancy hotelroom with champagne, McDonalds' and Burger King.

So a while ago I got a mysterious e-mail asking if I wanted to come to Paris for an unforgettable 'eXperYence'. I'm always up for a trip to Paris, especially if I get to bring a friend, so I said yes. On Saturday morning my bestie Michelle and I were on a plane to Paris, not really knowing what to expect, but just deciding not to expect too much of it. We'll have fun together anyway.

When we landed at Charles De Gaulle we were welcomed by a driver with a very awesome car. He took us to this lovely hotel called Mama Shelter. Definitely a recommendation if you're looking for a place to stay in Paris. The design was perfectly quirky. Our driver told us to enjoy our day and that he'd pick us up at the hotel in the evening.view more

Floral sweater and trousers from French Connection

If you vote for my look (or any look, really) over here at Fashiolista, you'll be in the running to win a £500 shopping spree at French Connection! Who wouldn't want that?! I'm really into matching pieces lately, so I'm mega in love with this matching sweater and trouser set. You can wear the pieces separately for a more casual look and for something more quirky you just go for the whole look!

CHOOSING AND WORKING WITH YOUR WEDDING DAY SUPPLIERS
Today I wanted to give some general advice on choosing the suppliers for your wedding day. It really is crucial that in addition to liking their portfolio of work, you also like them on a personal level. More than anything, you need to have a team around you who you can trust.
Israeli designer, Inbal Dror, has taken the wedding world (and Pinterest) by storm with her sexy, sultry, beautiful wedding dress designs.
And it’s no secret that I’m a BIG fan. See my my previous features on Inbal Dror’s 2011 collection and her 2012 wedding dress collection.
So today I’m absolutely thrilled to be sharing an exciting first look at Inbal Dror’s 2013 wedding dress collection with you all!
And judging by the amount of emails I receive asking where to find Inbal Dror dresses, lots of brides will be thrilled to hear they are now available in many more countries around the world – including the USA.
(More on where to buy Inbal Dror wedding dresses at the bottom of this post. As well as my own personal thoughts & experience with the dresses.)

Inbal Dror Paris 2013 Collection

For the 2013 collection, Inbal Dror surpassed herself by taking previously designed styles in 2011 and 2012 and giving them an extra zest, using new French Laces, Tulles, Pearls and Swarovsky Stones.
The 2013 collection brings vintage designs back to life yet infuses a modern, fashion V-Neck Prom Dresses uk forward vibe with daring necklines, low cut backs and risque, sheer fabrics.view more

This engagement shoot captured by Closer To Love Photography is the perfect mix of sweet & stylish.
Strolling amongst the fancy boutiques on Rodeo Drive in LA, Lana & Arthur look like they’ve just stepped out of a Tiffany ad.
I adore Lana’s chic, feminine style Tulle Prom Dresses uk  – blush pink cocktail dress, slightly tousled, braided hair, delicate jewellery, nude heels & lacy nail art that sends my heart all a’ flutter.
While Arthur is dressed so sharply in his three piece, steel-blue suit & striped tie it hurts.view more
Then there’s the laid back, beachy shots on the pier at Chino Hills, full of fun & romance. (And yet another killer dress.)
Can we all just stop & appreciate how utterly stylish this couple is? And how beautiful these photos are!
Anyone who knows me, knows that I’m a little bit okay, totally obsessed with Pinterest.
I’m constantly on the look out for creative pinners and beautiful boards to follow which is why I’m SO thrilled to be a part of the Pin It Forward UK campaign, spreading the Pinterest love across the UK alongside a whole host of fabulous bloggers from a range of niches.
Including some of my favourite UK wedding blogs!

SO WHAT IS PINTEREST?

Pinterest is an online tool for collecting and organizing the things you love.
It appeals to the 8 year old me, who spent a summer meticulously organising her sticker collection. One page for My Little Pony stickers, another one for Thunder Cats and a double page spread for sparkly stickers. I could go on.
It’s a virtual pin board / scrap book for creators, curators and collectors to inspire and be inspired.
I first discovered Pinterest back in 2011 and, as a lover of beautiful imagery, the outcome was inevitable.
It was love at first click.view more
2 years, 105 boards, 9,000 pins & 3.4 million followers later, I’m still just as enamoured with Pinterest.

Now that the weather is warm and summer is officially here, we’re all looking for ways to get that great summer glow. Here is a simple and inexpensive way to make a fantastic homemade mask from things you might already have in your kitchen. This is by far one of my favorite at-home beauty recipes. This mask has nourishing and anti-aging properties you’ll love–and it contains natural ingredients that have been used by women for decades.
Here is what you’ll need to make your mask:
- 1 smashed banana
- 1/2 cup plain unflavored oatmeal
- ¼ cup of honey
- 3 tablespoons of milk

You’ll also want to use a medium sized mixing bowl, a blender or food processor, and a small stirring spoon. All of these ingredients can be purchased at your local grocery store.
To make your mask, first smash up the peeled banana in your mixing bowl. Next, grind your oatmeal into a really fine powder in a blender or food processor. This step is very important, and unfortunately I learned this the hard way! I initially just poured the unblended oatmeal into the mixture and when I put it on my face, I had large chunks of oatmeal hanging off my face and dripping on the floor– and my whole staff laughing at me. While it may be more amusing, it’s not the best way to get the nourishing benefits of the oatmeal, so make sure you blend it to a fine powder first. You’ll also want to make sure that you use unflavored oatmeal in your mask since flavored oatmeal can have all different types of ingredients that may not be good for your skin.
After your oatmeal is blended into a fine powder, pour it into the mixing bowl with your smashed banana. Next, pour your 1/4 cup of honey and 3 tablespoons of milk into the bowl. Mix all the ingredients until you have a thick creamy banana scented mask.
If you feel your mask is too thick, you can always add more milk. If your mask is too runny, add in more oats. Sometimes it helps to heat your mask for 10-15 seconds in the microwave.
To apply the mask, first clean your face with water and your daily facial cleanser. Then you can use your hands to apply a handful of the mask in a thick, even layer.
You can leave your mask on for up to an hour, but if you don’t have that much time 20-30 minutes is okay. You just want to give the mask enough time to nourish your skin and help reduce the appearance of fine lines. I like to put on this mask when I’m getting ready to watch a show, so I can leave it on and forget about it.
After you are done using the mask, you’ll want to rinse it off with warm water until it is completely gone. Then you can pat your face dry and apply your favorite moisturizer. You’ll notice after using this mask how soft and smooth your skin is! This is a great mask that will reduce and prevent the signs of aging while helping to exfoliate the dead layer of skin on your face as well. This mask can be used as often as you like–any time you want to get that extra glow to your skin.
I hope you enjoyed making this simple, inexpensive treat for your skin. Do you have any other great do-it-yourself beauty tips? We’d love to hear about them!

When considering your wedding budget I would highly recommend spending a little more on your photographer. You will have these pictures forever so you want someone who is experienced and knowledgable. They don’t necessarily need a photography degree, but make sure to research them and look up their past weddings. Ask for an example album at your meeting with them. Make sure not all of their photos are the same. You don’t want to just have the cookie cutter wedding photos. You want unique photos that really represent you and your fiance as a couple.
I just got married and I had two photographers at my wedding. They have more of a photojournalism style, and it’s a husband and wife team. The wife does all of the posed photos and the husband does the candid shots. They were so much fun! We used the whole grounds of the venue and went out to take more photos when the sun was setting to get better views. I loved the shots they got and am so excited to have these photos to remember our special day!
The average budget for wedding photography is $1800-$2500 if you want someone all day. Sometimes they will include prints or other offers or just give you a cd of all of the photos that you can print at your own cost. Most of the time making the prints yourself will save you a lot of money. If you print on the luster or matte finish that is what the photographers will use. The photos look fabulous and won’t break the bank.
Remember, your wedding photos are the memories captured at your wedding that will last a lifetime!  If you live in the Portland area and are looking for a great wedding photographer, check out David Barss Photography, Charlotte’s Weddings Preferred Wedding Photographer.  And if you really want to capture every minute of your special day, Hybrid Moon Video Productions can help make the perfect wedding video, so you can relive your wedding day whenever you want. :)
Happy planning!!
